Art Deco Burr Walnut Dressing Table - demi-lune chest of drawers, circa 1920 with stylised Gothic arched mirror with moulded frame above three drawers, all with twin silver plate swag handles on short legs from brackets - Maurice Adams Ltd, - 36"w x 28"d x 70"h - Maurice Adams Ltd. was a furniture manufacturing company founded in London, England by the architect Maurice Spencer Rowe Adams (1887-1941). The company produced furniture in a style that was a cross between Art Deco and Georgian, all designed by Adams himself. He produced a treatise, on furniture and interior design, Modern Decorative Art (1930), which includes 200 examples of his designs for furniture, lighting, ornamental features and interiors.
